the slow stitcher

Hey, y’all.

Inspiration WIP #1

Finally have something to post about my stitching, after days without touching my needle and floss! This is Inspiration on 36 count Toitoi by Countrystitch over-two with one strand of DMC. The fabric is actually a very cheery cream-yellow, but you can’t tell from the picture. I’m SAL-ing this with Lauren and hoping to get a page done every two weeks.

  1. I just ran into your blog while browsing around. This sure is a beautiful pattern. I will be back to see how you are doing with this.
    Have a nice day!

  2. Ohhh, I love that flower in the corner! I might have to give up my resolution to do all the backstitching first just so I can stitch it. Vonna‘s invited us to combine our SAL with theirs – they’re also stitching it on Friday. Would that be OK with you?
