the slow stitcher

Not unless I travel to it.

This week’s SBQ:

Have you ever been to a stitching retreat?

Can’t say I have. I understand they’re pretty big in the US, but here in Singapore I’m hard-pressed to find good LNS/ONS, not to mention stitching retreats!

While we’re on the topic, can anyone tell me what is usually done at such a retreat, apart from the stitching?

  1. If you ever come across any cross-stitching retreat in SG…call me immediately. Do you think it would ever happen?

  2. I just found this post while tag surfing. You asked what is done at a stitching retreat besides stitching. At the retreats that I’ve attended, there is lots of chatting and gossiping, and catching up with friends (whether you know them from IRL, or just online); there’s lots of food and eating. Sometimes there’s sightseeing or shopping. It’s just a fun getaway. I highly recommend attending one if you have the chance.
