the slow stitcher

My Paper Doll update #1.

Doll's torso done.

I started stitching My Paper Doll on Nov 10 and here is the doll’s torso after 4 days. She’s the centrepiece of the pattern. It’s turning out to be very easy to stitch and I’m so glad I chose to do it on evenweave instead of Aida because there are a fair number of quarter stitches and evenweave just makes the stitching go so much faster and smoother. This is also my first Janlynn pattern and I’m pretty impressed at how realistic the doll is turning out. It looked funny to me at first (a lot darker than the picture that came with the chart) but now I think it looks very nice.
