Stash shots.
I decided to take pictures of my stash for posterity, and also because the LJ cross stitch community has started a “share your stash pictures” thing. I don’t have very much – everything fits into a huge straw bag and I don’t have to run around frantically trying to find stuff when I need to. I’ll probably invest in a small set of drawers after we settle in at our new home, though. Oh, and a good lamp to stitch by.
Everything – kits, charts, spare Q-snaps, fabrics, odds and ends – goes into this big woven straw bag.
Floss goes in here when not being used for projects. I have two smaller project boxes that hold floss, needles and everything else needed for that particular project.
I prefer charts to kits so I don’t have many of these.
A pile of charts, ranging from Heaven and Earth Designs, Cross Stitch Pattern Gallery, Janlynn Just-a-Charts and Prairie Schooler to Jan Houtman, Dimensions, P Buckley Moss, Permin of Copenhagen and more.
My beloved K’s Creations standard Z-frame with clamps, holding my current round robin WIP – Blueberry Muffin!
Great SEX today.
MyHobbyCraft is holding a warehouse sale starting today and I took the opportunity to pop by after lunch this afternoon. After much dithering, hemming and hawing, and editing of selections, I left with:
1 Kustom Krafts design – Four Horses of the Apocalypse
2 Dimensions leaflets – Antique Carousel and Holiday Elegance
1 Dale Burdett teapot book
1 Gingerbread Christmas book
1 Valerie Pfeiffer Trios design – Three’s a Crowd
And my all-star buys:
1 Dimensions Gold kit – The Finery of Nature S$34
Michael Powell kits – Venice Windows 4 and Lighthouse for only S$15 each!!!
None of this is even in my wishlist. So much for being a disciplined shopper. But I am oh so happay!
Note to self: MUST organise stash.
